Went to Scheel's, Lids. Then went to Grizzlies.
Got to Grizzlies about 1 or 1:30 pm.
Paul left at this point to meet his fiancée at Target. There was no conflict going on at this point. This was the last time Paul saw the other two that day.
Albough worked for Paul. Didn't show up for work that day. Paul got a hold of Unruh's daughter who told him Albough had been stabbed.
Pros is finished. Def is now questioning.
Def: Were Albough/Unruh fighting? Paul: No.
Paul called Albaugh's girlfriend and told her what had happened to Albaugh.
Def: Was it unusual for Albaugh to be driving someone else's vehicle. Paul: No. He liked to drive. He liked nice vehicles.
Def: Was there drinking going on in vehicle that day? Paul: Yes. Beer.
Def: Did Albaugh like to fight? Paul: He wasn't one to back down.
Paul excused. Told to stay available within a day or so for further testimony. He's still under subpoena.
Nevada Allen called by pros.
She served Albaugh and Unruh that day around 1 or 2 pm.
They ordered one margarita a piece and then maybe 2 shots a piece.
Pros is showing Allen Albaugh/Unruh's receipt. She's explaining what each item is. The margaritas had about three shots of alcohol in each of them.
Time on receipt is 1:15 pm.
Pros: Do you recall anything about their behavior. Allen: They acted like old friends. They seemed to be having a good time.
She was getting close to ending her shift at this time. Dave Vacha was going to replace her.
I think I'm missing your question. What is confusing?
Def says it looks like 4 drinks were bought. Allen says it looks like this because the type of margaritas they bought (high end) have to be rung as two drinks.
Pros is clarifying that the receipt show only 2 drinks.
We'll be allowing questions about what happened at Unruh's house when that aspect of trial is discussed.
He is the assistant manager at Grizzlies.
Testimony on this subject has not been given. We don't have answers for you right now.
Vacha was working on day Albaugh was killed.
Vacha knew Randy. Had saw Albaugh "a couple of times a month" at Grizzlies. He came in for the margaritas.
He usually had two or three "trophy" margaritas. The type he had the day he died.
He saw Albaugh come in around 12:45 or 1 pm with another man. Identifies Unruh as other man.
Vacha says he got the sense Albaugh/Unruh were friends. Albaugh asked specifically for Vacha to mix their second margaritas.
Vacha: "I guess he just liked the way I make them better than Nevada(Allen)."
Pros shows Vacha a receipt. Vacha says it was for drinks he mixed.
Time on receipt is 1:46 pm
The receipt has the same "upcharge" as the previous receipt that makes it look like 4 drinks rather than 2.
Vacha: There were no problems between the two. They left around 2 or 2:15. They didn't order another drink.
Vacha: Albaugh was a good customer. Never had to ask him to leave.
Feltner used to manage Hooters.
Probably worked the day Albaugh was killed. Remembers Unruh coming into Hooters pretty frequently. Doesn't remember everything from the day Albaugh was killed.
